We Care and Give Back

Our Products are assembled with love and care by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is an honor for us to help these hardworking individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. 

QuickPickleKit.com also collaborates with  nonprofits and schools to support their endeavors.

Andrea and Meaghan are volunteer members of the Estero Bay Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in California and support first responders during emergencies.

For four months, Andrea and Meaghan virtually mentored five UC Davis Graduate School of Management interns teaching them all aspects of running a small business that gives back.

In response to the California wildfires, QuickPickleKit.com supports the Veterinary Emergency Response Team (VERT) at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine by donating  proceeds from "Wearing A Mask Is No Big Dill" mask sales. Our donations provide much needed medical supplies.

In response the the COVID19 pandemic, Andrea and Meaghan were invited to participate as guest panelists at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management inaugural Virtual Career Fair. They were the only women-owned corporation on the panel.  From this career fair, they decided to mentor five  interns for four months over the summer.

Andrea and Meaghan donate their time as guest lecturers at a local Middle School to share their experience as leaders and entrepreneurs. In addition, QuickPickleKit.com supported the launch of the school club in which they donated 100% of the profits from their healthy fundraiser to teach students entrepreneurial skills and the importance of giving back.

Andrea and Meaghan were invited guest speakers at The Blue C Community Garden in Los Osos, CA.  They taught community members how to pickle extra vegetables to reduce food waste.  The Garden provides space for community members to grow their own food and teaches local schoolchildren and other interested gardeners ecological stewardship and is a project of Ecologistics, a local nonprofit.
